Lizi Trafford and Mike Allan took to the stage next with a dreamy set displaying a lovely fusion of vocals. "Stay with Me" had a nice country touch and "I'm Sorry Babe" had one of the best melodic hooks I've heard in a long time - can't wait to hear that one again. "Stories Told" finished off this very melodic set.(July 2003)
Mike kicked off with "Echo Road", unusual timing over a lyrical tale of life's journey, his second had a beautifully picked "golden" intro, the intimate "I told you my big secret/Will you keep it?" lending weight to the heartfelt vocal, which used space well I thought. "Come Home to Me" was slightly country-tinged and more upbeat, telling the tale of a roadster-lovin' partner, without whom "My Tuesday's just haven't been the same". Both original and moving stuff from Mike.
